To stop global warming and curtail other risks, conventional energy generation has to be timely replaced by renewable resources like wind, solar power and biomass.

In these past few years much has been invested in wind and solar energy, although base load production can hardly be achieved. Moreover, the transport and storage of the energy produced (e.g. wind energy from off-shore power plants) require huge investments in terms of grid (500 billion € just in Germany) and/or energy storage.

Biomass is the only renewable resource that enables a continuous and adjustable power production and is thus crucial to the base load supply. In addition, it enables the local generation of electricity, precisely where it is needed. No additional investments in the grid are necessary. Small-size, local plants are significant elements of a promising energy turnaround.

Thanks to the high efficiency of the agnion technology (more efficient than any other available biomass systems), agnion will make a crucial contribution to the future energy supply.
